Path of L'Alpujarra
(Andalusia)

Definition:
It crosses the southern side of Sierra Nevada, and covers several villages
of Las Alpujarras. It goes on by the "carihuelas", or stoned
paths, and the walker can visit several beautiful villages, like Tahá,
Busquístar, Notáez, Cástaras, Nieles and Lobras.
It also goes by several water mills. Other interesting places are: Jorairátar,
Darrícal, Lucainena and Alcolea. The planned route will be 144
km long.
Route:
In Andalusia the route goes
on as follows: Lanjarón, Orgiva, Mecinas Fondales, Ferreirola,
Busquistar, Notaez, Cástaraz, Nieles, Lobras, Cádiar, Jorairátar,
Los Monteros, Las Canteras, Darrical, Lucainena, Alcolea, Láujar
de Andarax, Almócita, Fondón, Padules, Canjáyar,
Ohanes, Abrucena (GR 148) and Fiñana. Nowadays, the marked section
has the following route: Darrical, Berja, Laujar, Abrucena, Fiñana
and Huéneja
