Definition:
It begins in Oviedo and, by several historical villages, it arrives to Covadonga, a Mary pilgrimage center, and where the legend situates the beginning of the Reconquest of King Pelayo against the Moors. It is 105 km long.

Route:

In Asturias is: Oviedo (Covadonga chapel), road of La Garganta, Alto del Espinadal, Les Praeres, Puente Miera, Espinaredo, Pendedor, La Matosa, La Vega, Sierra de Bodes, Cangas de Onís and Covadonga. It has two variants: the GR 105-1, that is 12 km long, that goes from La Rebolla (Mieres) to Grandota (Oviedo); and the GR 105-2, that is 44 km long, between Llanes and Covadonga.
