Channels of Castilla

Definition:
This channel goes from the Cannel of Campos and links the rviers Pisuerga
and Carrión, near the convent of Calahorra. The route has three
branches, and all of them has as reference point the village of Palencia.
It is 210 km long. Along the channel, on both sides, there is a path,
so the marks are not necessary (only in the beginning).
Route:
In Castilla-León
the northern branch goes from Palencia by Amusco, Fromista, Herrera de
Pisuerga to Alar del Rey; the southern branch goes from Valladolid to
Palencia by Dueñas; and the branch of Campos goes from Grijota
to Medina de Rioseco by Paredes de Navas and Abarca de Campos.
