Definition:
It begins in
Guadalajara, in the area called Alto Tajo, and it covers a section of
the Serrania of Cuenca. Sometimes, this path goes by gullies and rivers
(Guadela, Cuervo, Júcar). It goes by the Ciudad Encantada, a miracle
of forms created by the wind and the water.
Route:
In Castilla-la Mancha the
route will be: Algar de Mesa, Villel de Mesa, Mochales, Anchuela
de Campo, Concha, Tartanedo, Pardos, Rillo de Gallo, Corduente, Virgen
de la Hoz, Toreste, Puente de San Pedro, Ventorro del Chato, Puente de
Martinete, Paralejos de las Truchas, Beteta, Masegoda, Vega del Codorno,
Tragacete, Majadas, Uña, Ciudad Encantada, Cuenca, Palomera, Cañada
del Hoyo, Carboneras de Guadazaón, Pajaroncillo, Víllora,
Enguídanos, La Pesquera, Minglanilla, Los Cárceles, Iniesta
and Nerpio. Nowadays, the only marked section is 140 km long and goes
from Puente de Martinete and Palomera (Cuenca).
