Definition:
It begins in the Portuguese border village of Barrancos, crosses the Sierra Norte of Huelva from North-West to South-East, and goes into the area of Seville. Most of its route goes on by the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, in the western side of Sierra Morena. It is 154 km long.

Route:
In Andalusia the route goes on as follows: Barrancos (Portugal), Ribera del Múrtigas (N-435), dam of Aracenas (local road from Aracena to Cañavera), Zufre, castle of Las Guadas, Cortijo de la Calera, Gerena, Camas and Seville. There are three variants: the GR 41-1, that is 8 km long and goes on as follows: GR 41, Cerro Verdugo (near the gully of la Papúa), Majada Nueva and GR 41; the GR 41-2, a circular route of 18 km that begins and ends in zufre, and covers several landscapes near the Sierras del Zorrero and Magallanes; and the GR 41-3, that is 48 km long and its route goes on as follows: Zufre (GR 41), Higuera de la Sierra, Jabuguillo, Aracena, Los Marines, Fuenteheridos, Galaroza and Las Murtiguillas.
