Sender d'Euskalherria
(Navarra and Euskadi)

GENERAL MAP

Definition:
This route links from east to west Euskadi. Its western end is in Zuriza, from where it goes up to the Mesa de los Tres Reyes (2.434 m), confluence point with the old kingdoms of Navarra, Aragon and Bearn. Its eastern side is in the pass of Kruzeta, in Euskadi.

Route:
In Navarra it is about 195 km long. Their reference points are: Sierra de Aralar, Quinto Real, Selva de Irati, Roncesvalles, and Aezcoa, as well as Larra. In the pass of Velate, the route goes to Lekumberri and the pass of Etxegarate to go into Euskadi.

In Euskadi it is about 70 km long. It begins in the pass of Etxegarate and goes to the west to Lizarrusti, San Adrián, Mugarriluze, pass of Arlaban, Rasos de Albina and pass of Kruzeta. In a really important section, it goes on together with the GR 121; in Lizarrusti, it meets the GR 20.
