Review of the guide

This is the description of a net of marked routes in the defined area of the Serres de Mestral. This area includes the coast section from Cambrils to Amposta, as well as an imaginary interior line that links Cambrils with Reus, Falset, Rasquera, Tortosa, and Amposta. Inside this imaginary area, the most important mountain crests of Serres de Pradell, Serra de l'Argentera, Mola de Colldejou, Miranda de Llaberia, Serra de Montalt, Serra de Tivissa, Dedalts de Vandellòs, Serra de la Talaia, Serra de la Creu, Tossa de l'Alzina, l'Enclusa, etc.
It includes the description of the GR 192 with its variant GR 192-1 (from north to south); the description of four sections of the GR 92 that go from Amposta to Cambrils (from south to north); the description of two sections of the GR 7, from Colldejou to Rasquera; and the descriptions of the PR-C 53, PR-C 81, PR-C 90, PR-C 91, PR-C 92, and PR-C 96 (about 390 km of marked routes). All of those routes allow the walker to follow circular routes.
Those routes have been divided into sections that can be covered in one day (between 15 and 25 km). Its beginnings and ends are places where the walker can arrive easily (by train, by bus, by car...). Each section has its own card with a map (section of an ICC map, scale 1:50.000, with the route overprinted), the description of the route (with distances in time and km) and a drop profile.
Before each description, there is an informative section for the walker, about security while walking; basic behaviour rules while in nature; general advices; how to use the guide; and marks. This section is complemented with a general map with the situation of all the routes and a summary of them.
In this guide there are some brief notes about two subjects not interrelated but related to some of the characteristics of those routes (landscape, culture, social behaviour and economy). Those subjects are cattle travelling and how to produce electricity (eolic and nuclear).
