GR 1 Sendero Histórico
It goes in Cantabria from Burgos by Puerto del Escudo, and its route goes as follows: Corconte, Lanchares, Servillas, Campo Alto, Orzales, Requejo, Aradillos, Fontecha, Camino, Argüeso, Serna, Soto, Espinillas, Barrio, Suso and Collado Somahoz, where it goes into Palencia, towards Salcedillo and Brañosera.

GR 71 Sendero de la Reserva de Saja
It crosses the Reserva Nacional de Saja and connects Bárcena de Pie de Concha, in the middle of Catabria, with the Asturian village of Sotres, in the heart of the Picos de Europa. The Cantabrian section is about 125 km long and goes on by deep forests and prairies. Its route goes as follows: Bárcena de Pie de Concha, Obios (1219 m), Bárcena Mayor, Colsa, Saja, Collado de Cahorra, Tudanca, Collado de Abellan, Pejanda, San Mamés, Collado de les Ivernallas, Luriezo, Cahecho, Potes, Pendes, Collado de Pelea, Bejes and Jitu Escarandi.

GR 72 Ruta de los Campurrianos
It will communicate Reinosa and Santillana del Mar following an old traditional path between the mountain passes of Campoo and the lowlands valleys of Santillana. From Reinosa to Aradillos, the GR 72 will follow the same route of the GR 1.

GR 73 Calzada de los Blendios
The foreseen route begins in Reinosa, and goes on to Santillana del Mar and suances, following approximately the old Roman paved road called Pisoraca (Portus Blendium in Latin), crossing the municipal areas of Reinosa, Enmedio, Santiurde de Reinosa and Pesquera. There is the possibility that the GR 73 could go on to the souht, to Herrera de Pisuerga (Palencia), where it could connects with the GR 89 Canal de Castilla.

GR 74 Corredor Oriental de Cantabria
It goes on by the eastern part of Cantabria, by unknown and wonderful places, like the Cañada de Moncrespo. It is about 135 km long, and can be made in 8 stages. Its route goes on as follows: Ramales de la Victoria, La Gándara, San Roque de Riomiera, Selaya, Vega de Pas, San Pedro del Romeral, San Miguel de Luena, San Miguel de Aguayo and Reinosa. It has one variant that goes from San Miguel de Aguayo to Bárcena de Pie de Concha, where it meets the GR 71.

GR 75 Senda de los Valles de Cantabria
This route is projected to cross Cantabria from Castro Urdiales to Potes, but, at the present moment, the only prepared section is the central one, that goes from Matienzo (Ruesga) to Bárcena de Pie de Concha.

GR 99 Sendero del Ebro
The project of this route follows the whole river Ebro from its beginning in Fontibre until its delta in the Mediterranean sea. Its route will be more than 900 km long and will cross several Comunidades Autónomas: Cantabria, Castilla-León, La Rioja, Euskadi, Navarra, Aragon and Catalonia. The Cantabrian section is 56 km long and its route goes on as follows: Fontibre, Salces, Nestares, Reinosa, Bolmir, Retortillo, Celada, Mariantes, Montesclaros, Aldea de Ebro, Mediadoro, La Serna, La Población de Abajo, Ruerrero, Villota de Elines, San Martín de Elines and Villaescusa de Ebro. It crosses two important natural emplacements protected by law: El Cañón del Ebro and Monte Hijedo.
