GR 7 La Farga de Moles (Lleida - Tarifa (Cádiz)
It enters into Andalusia from Múrcia. The first reference point in Andalusia is Almaciles, from where the GR 7 goes to Puebla de Don Fadrique, where it separates into two branches, the Northern branch and the Southern branch. It is, also, the beginning and end of the GR 143.

The Northern branch, the original route of this GR in Andalusia, crosses the Natural Park of Mágina and the Natural Parck of Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas, the biggest park in Andalusia. There are wonderful valleys and it is the beginning of the river Guadalquivir. The route also crosses the Natural Park of Sierras Subbéticas, with wonderful landscapes. The route of this Northern branch is: Puebla de Don Fadrique, Cazorla, Quesada, Jódar, Cambil, Alcala la Real, Priego de Córdoba, Rute, Archidona, Villanueva del Trabuco and Villanueva del Gauche.
The Southern branch, an alternative to the Northern one, goes on by the massif of Sierra Nevada. It crosses the Sierra de Baza, goes on by a small part of the Alpujarra in Almeria and Granada. Its villages are full of popular architecture, gastronomy, etc. The route goes into the Lecrín valley, full of orange-trees. Before ending, it goes by Alhama de Granada, placed between several rocks, like natural walls.
The route of this Southern branch is: Puebla de Don Fadrique, Huéscar, Galera, Cúllar, Baza, Charches, Puerto de la Ragua, Bayárcal, Válor, Trevélez, Pitres, Lanjarón, Saleres, Alhama de Granada, Riogordo and Villanueva del Gauche.
By the end of this route, after Villanueva del Cauche, the route goes on by such interesting places as Sierra del Valle de Abdalajís, el Chorro (a paradise for climbers), the Serrania de Ronda, the plains of Libar and Montejaque, the Natural Park of Grazalema, the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales (full of oak-trees) and the Sierra de Ojén (with a great botanical value). The most interesting places of the route from the junction till the end are: Villanueva del Gauche, Antequera, Ardales, El Burgo, Arriate, Ronda, Ubrique, Castellar de la Frontera and Tarifa. The variant GR 7-9 from Antequera to Cuevas Bajas (northern branch), is 26 km long, and has the following route: Antequera, Cortijo de los Almendros, Camino de las Algaidas, crossroads of the river Guadalhorce and A-92, Camino de la Venta del Río to the Caserái de Rojas, Cartoajal, school, cemetery, water tanks, path from Antequera to Cuevas Bajas, Realengas de Cuevas Bajas to Antequera, Camino de Pajariego and Cuevas Bajas.

GR 39 Cañada Real de la Mesta
The Carrerada de la Mesta has been recuperated recently. Now it has its original route with the marks of this path. Some original sections have been avoided because of the impossibility to pass through it.
The route has a wonderful view over the Dehesa, cereal fields, forests and several rivers and torrents with the typical vegetation of a river. There is a perfect harmony between the environment and the human profit, together agriculture and cattle exploitation. The route is 112 km long and it goes by: hermitage of Virgen de Veredas, El Guijo, El Viso, Hinojosa del Duque, La Granjuela, Fuente Obejuna and La Coronada (Córdoba).

GR 40 Cañada Real Soriana
It is the longest path that crosses the peninsule. The GR 40 crosses the Dehesa, several farms and "cortijos". In its first section, from Torrecampo to Pozoblanco, there are several "dehesas", hills and "pseudoestepa", with a well delimited route.

It os 105 km long and goes by: Córdoba, hermitage of Linares, Cerro Muriano, Villaharta, Pozoblanco, El Guijo and hermitage of Virgen de Veredas (Córdoba).

GR 41 Cordel de las Buervas
It begins in the border Portuguese village of Barrancos, crosses the Sierra Norte de Huelva, from north-west till the south-east, and goes into the area of Sevilla in order to achieve the city. Most of the route goes through the Natural Park of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche in the western side of Sierra Morena.
It is 154 km long and its route is the following: Barrancos (Portugal), Ribera del Múrtigas (N-435), dam of Aracena (local road from Aracena to Cañavera), Zufre, castle of las Guadas, Cortijo de la Calera, Gerena, Camas and Sevilla. It has three variants: the GR 41-1 that is 8 km long and has the following route: GR 41, Cerro Verdugo (near the gull of la Papúa), Majada Nueva and GR 41; the GR 41-2, a circular route of 18 km that begins and ends in Zufre, and that goes by near the Sierra del Zorrero and Sierra de Magallanes; and the GR 41-3, that is 48 km long and that has this route: Zufre (GR 41), Higuera de la Sierra, Jabuguillo, Aracena, Los Marines, Fuenteheridos, Galaroza and Las Murtiguillas.

GR 42 West Cañada Real Leonesa
It begins in Aroche and ends in the border of the Comunidad Estremeña, after crossing the Natural park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche to the south-north-east, and the routes GR 41 and GR 48.
It will be 112 km long and will have the following route: Aroche (Huelva), Ribera del Múrtiga (local route to Encinasola), Cumbres de En medio and Segura de León (Badajoz). Nowadays, there are only 56 km marked, by paths with light slopes and wonderful landscapes. It has one variant, the 42-1, that is 57 km long and has the following route: Aroche (GR 42), Cortegana, Almonaster La Real, Aguafría, Jabugo, Galarosa, Valdelarco and Cumbres Mayores.

GR 47 Camino de las Minas
Its route is all inside the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche: hermitage of Santa Eulalia, Alájar, Fuenteheridos, Cortelazor, Hinojales (GR 41), gull of Borboyelo (GR 48) and Cañaveral de León. The marked section goes from the hermitage of Santa Eulalia to Hinojales, and has 60 km.

GR 48 Sendero de Sierra Morena
It begins in the Portuguese village of Barrancos, like the GR 41; it crosses the northern side of the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche. From Encinasola, it goes on through forests to Cumbres Mayores, Hornachuelos (Natural Park of Hornachuelos), it goes on between the crest and the valley of the river Guadalquivir. The GR uses low-transitated roads and cattle paths.
Obce in Cordoba, the GR goes on betweent the crest and the "campiña" until the Parque Periurbano de la Sierrezuela in Posadas. Later on, it goes inside Sierra Morena and, after, by the torrent Bejarano, with the ruins of several windmills. After Cordoba, the GR goes to the dam of Guadalmellato and, by several paths, it arrives to the Natural park of Sierra de Montoro. It ends in the dam of the rier Yeguas. The most interesting places are: Barrancos (Portugal), Encinasola, Cumbres de San Bartolomé, Cumbres Mayores (GR 42-1), Cerro el Bujo, Hinojales (GR 41), Cañaveral de León, Arroyomolinos de León, Cala, Santa Olalla de Cala, El Real de La Jara, Almadén de la Plata, riu Viar (Dehesa de Upa), riu Viar, Cazalla de la Sierra, San Nicolás del Puerto, Cerro del Hierro, Las Navas de la Concepción, Puebla de los Infantes, Hornachuelos, Posadas, Almodóvar del Río, Sta. Mª de Trassierra, Córdoba, Alcolea (PR-A 53), dam of Guadalmellato, Adamuz, Montoro and dam of the river Yeguas. It has 284 Km, but only 229 of them are marked (except the section in the area of Sevilla).

GR 92 Sendero Mediterráneo
The section of this path that goes on by Andalusia is under construction. The plan makes it go by the areas of Almeria, Granada and Cádiz.The route in the area of Almeria is 170 km long and goes by: Adra, Balanegra, Almerimar, Urb. Roquetas de Mar, Aguadulce, Almería, Costacabana, Retamar, Cabo de Gata, Fabriquilla, San José, Los Escullos, Rodalquilar, Las Negras, Agua Amarga, Carboneras, Mojacar, Garrucha, Villaricos and San Juan de los Terreros. Nowadays, the section marked is the one from Adra to Aguadulce (59 km).

GR 100 Ruta de la Plata
The Andalusian section begins in El Real de Jara, coming from Monesterio, and goes on by Almadén de la Plata, Castiblanco de los Arroyos, Guillena and Santiponce until Sevilla, after 90 km.

GR 140 Sendero de Almería
It links the GR 7 (Puerto de Ragua) with the GR 92 (Cabo de Gata) by the Sierra Gador and by the river Andarax. It is 160 km long and goes by: Bayarcal, Laujar de Andrax, Padules, Santa Fe de Mondújar, Pechina, Níjar and Cabo de Gata (GR 92). 160 km.

GR 142 Sendero de la Alpujarra

It crosses the southern side of Sierra Nevada and goes on by several villages in La Alpujarra. From Lanjarón, it goes on by Órgiva, the river Guadalfeo by their "carihuelas" (small stoned paths), Tahá, Busquístar, Notáez, Cástaras, Nieles and Lobras. The route goes on by several water mills (the one in Cádiar is still working). From Cádiar, to the east, the route goes to the river Adra. Among several rambles full of vegetation, the route crosses amazing villages like Jorairátar, Darrícal, Lucainena and Alcolea. It enters to the valleyof Andaráx, between fountains and vineyards, by Laujar d'Andaráx and the villages of Benecíd, Almócita and Padules. And from Canjáyar, by a wonderful slope, the route arrives to Ohanes and crosses the crest towards the north-west to Abrucena. It ends in Fiñana.This route is planed to be 144 km long, and this will be: Lanjarón, Orgiva, Mecinas Fondales, Ferreirola, Busquistar, Notaez, Cástaraz, Nieles, Lobras, Cádiar, Jorairátar, Los Monteros, Las Canteras, Darrical, Lucainena, Alcolea, Láujar de Andarax, Almócita, Fondón, Padules, Canjáyar, Ohanes, Abrucena (GR 148) and Fiñana. Nowadays, the marked section begins in Darrical, goes by Berja, Laujar, Abrucena and Fiñana, and ends in Huéneja.

GR 144 Ruta de la Transhumancia
It is 70 km long and fully marked. Its route is: Control de Ramblaseca (Campos de Hernán Perea), El Salto del Moro, Nacimiento del Río Segura, Fuente Segura, Casas de Carrasco, Aroca, Cerro del Roblecillo, Hornos El Viejo, Cerro de la Pesquera and Puente Mocha de Beas de Segura.

GR 146 Ruta Monte y Olivo
It is 50 km long and fully marked. It entirely goes by Jaén. Its most interesting points are: Hornos de Segura (GR 144), Cortijos Nuevos, La Puerta de Segura, Torres de Albanchez and Villarodrigo.

GR 147 Sierra Profunda
Marked route that goes on by Jaén. It is 50 km long, and has the following route: Santiago de la Espada, La Toba, Prado Maguillo, Río Madera, Segura de la Sierra, and Benatae.

GR 148 Abrucena - Tahal
It connects the GR 142 and the GR 143, and has the following route: Abrucena (GR 142), Doña María, Bergal and Tahal (GR 143).


GR 243 Sierra de las Nieves
Ronda, El Burgo, Los Sauces, Yunquera, Tolox, Guaro, Monta, Istán, Juanar and Ojén.
- Variante GR 243-1 Cercanías de Monda, Juanar and Istán; 19 km.
