ROUTE MATAGALLS TO MONTSERRAT
(Ruta Matagalls-Montserrat)

Thematic route to go from the foot of the peak of the Matagalls (1699
m) in the massif of the Montseny, to the sanctuary of Montserrat (709
m).
This route was made by the Club Excursionista de Gràcia in memory
of the crossing made in August, 4th, 1904, by Mossèn Jaume Oliveras
(1877-1957), a pioneer of climbing in Catalonia. This club organizes,
from 1972 to nowadays, the walk MATAGALLS-MONTSERRAT
that goes on by this route.
